Meet Your Artist

Mandisha Nicole is a Photographer and Cinematographer from Brooklyn, Ny currently residing and shooting throughout the DMV (DC/Maryland/VA) area. Specializing in portrait and editorial photography; short film and music video directing — showcasing melanated beings as her subject of choice. “I enjoy shooting us as we want to be seen, not as the world chooses to see us”. Mandisha describes her visual expression as a love letter to blackness.

As the owner of production company, B.A.B.E (Beautiful Art Begins with Expression) Productions, her passion lives in bringing visions to life. From conception to completion, clients never leave the studio without a memorable vibe. Proper portrayal and representation is key in her work. When not looking through the viewfinder of a camera, Mandisha enjoys writing poetry, practicing meditation and bodybuilding.
